Terms of Service

Welcome to i·CANTO. By creating an account or using i·CANTO, you agree to these Terms.

1. What i·CANTO is

i·CANTO helps you learn a language through song lyrics: translation, pronunciation, conjugation practice, quizzes, and an AI tutor built around songs you choose.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use i·CANTO.

3. Acceptable use

Please don't use i·CANTO to:

  • Violate any law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Abuse, scrape, or overload the service.
  • Attempt to bypass account restrictions or security features.

4. Content

  • Song lyrics displayed in the app belong to their respective rights holders and are used for educational/personal-study purposes.
  • AI-generated content (translations, explanations, quiz questions) is generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate. It's a learning aid, not a substitute for professional translation.
  • Your content (saved vocabulary, chat messages, etc.) stays yours; you grant us the license needed to store and process it so the app can function.

5. No warranty

i·CANTO is provided “as is.” We're a small, independently-run product still actively improving, and we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, i·CANTO isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves, and will update the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use i·CANTO after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using i·CANTO at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
